Is AdsTarget free?
Yes. AdsTarget is free while it is in beta. You only pay the ad platform for ads you decide to run yourself; AdsTarget never publishes or pays for ads on your behalf.
Which ad platforms are supported?
Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads) today. AdsTarget is built on platform drivers, and more platforms such as TikTok, Google and LinkedIn are planned. There are no release dates yet.
Will AdsTarget spend money or publish ads?
No. Anything AdsTarget creates in your ad account, such as a draft campaign and ad set, is created PAUSED, and only on ad accounts where you explicitly turn writes on. Nothing runs or spends until you review it and activate it yourself in Meta Ads Manager.
What Facebook permissions do you ask for, and why?
ads_read lets us list your ad accounts, search targeting options and estimate reach. ads_management is used only to create lookalike audiences and paused drafts on accounts where you enable writes. business_management lets us show ad accounts owned by your Business Manager. Access tokens are stored encrypted.
Can I target members of a Facebook group or followers of a competitor's page?
No. Meta does not offer that as a targeting option, and AdsTarget only uses official targeting options exposed by the platform APIs. We never scrape profiles or extract group members or page followers. Instead, find the interests, behaviors, job titles and demographics that describe that same audience.
How do the AI suggestions work?
Describe your niche in plain language and the AI assistant drafts an audience, can tune it toward a target reach, and reviews it for overlap, breadth and compliance risks. Every suggestion is matched against real targeting options from the platform before it reaches your audience, so it never adds invented options or IDs. You review and edit everything.
Why is my job title audience so small?
Job titles only match people who list that exact title on their profile, so in smaller countries they are often tiny. For example, targeting accountants in Bulgaria by job title reaches very few people, while accounting-related interests reach roughly 250,000. Reach estimates in the builder let you compare approaches before you commit.
How do I delete my data?
Disconnect your platform or delete your account in Settings; tokens are removed immediately. You can also remove AdsTarget in your Facebook settings under Apps and websites: Meta notifies us, we delete your data and give you a confirmation code you can check on our data deletion status page.
