AdsTarget
Facebook Interest Explorer
Free Facebook interest explorer: search any keyword to see real Meta targeting interests with audience sizes and categories. No sign-up needed. Copy them, download a CSV or build an audience.
Search any keyword to find the Facebook and Instagram interests Meta actually offers for ad targeting, with their audience size ranges and where they sit in Meta's taxonomy. It is free and needs no account.
How to use it
Search a keyword: Type a niche, a product or a hobby, like "yoga" or "real estate". Each keyword gets its own shareable page.
Compare audience sizes: Sizes are Meta's worldwide estimates. Pick a country to see how many people each interest reaches there.
Find related interests: Open the Suggestions tab for interests Meta considers related, including ones that don't contain your keyword.
Use them in your ads: Select interests to copy them, download a CSV, or build an audience with them in AdsTarget.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Facebook Interest Explorer free?
Yes. You can search interests and see their audience sizes without an account. Searches are rate limited per visitor; a free AdsTarget account lets you build, save and estimate full audiences.
Where do the interests and audience sizes come from?
Straight from Meta's Marketing API: the same targeting options and audience size estimates you see in Ads Manager. Results are cached for up to a week, so very recent changes may take a few days to show.
Why is the audience size a range?
Meta only publishes estimated ranges, not exact counts. Worldwide sizes are shown by default; pick a country to see the estimated monthly reach of each interest in that country.
What is the difference between related interests and suggestions?
Related interests are the targeting options that match your keyword. Suggestions are interests Meta recommends alongside them, which often uncovers niche options that don't contain the keyword at all.
Can I use these interests in my Facebook and Instagram ads?
Yes. Copy the names into Ads Manager's detailed targeting, download them as a CSV, or build an audience in AdsTarget that combines them with AND/OR groups and shows a live reach estimate.
Why don't you show gender and age breakdowns?
Each breakdown needs extra Meta API calls per interest. Sign in to AdsTarget to estimate the reach of a full audience for any age range, gender and location.
